    Bohemian Pilsner Malt; Weyermann®

Czech-grown two-row spring barley “HANKA”. Processed specifically for “Bohemian” characteristics to impart a full body, golden-blond color, and complex maltiness to the finished brew. Recommended Quantities: Up to 100% of total grain bill. Suitability (beer styles): All lagers (especially Pils/Pilsner/Pilsener) as well as low-alcohol, “light“, and Belgian ales and lagers.

  • 2 oz Magnum - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Magnum

Bred in 1980 at Germany’s Hüll Hop Research Center, this high-alpha variety is renowned for its exceptionally large, heavy cones. Hallertauer Magnum delivers excellent yields and, like many Hüll-developed hops, boasts a strong resistance to disease.

  • 1.25 oz Amarillo® - 7.9 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Amarillo®

Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • Lallemand 3767 Nottingham

    Lallemand 3767 Nottingham

Low concentrations of fruity and estery aromas. Neutral for Ale yeast, allowing for malty profile.

  • White Labs WLP060 American Ale Yeast Blend

White Labs WLP060 American Ale Yeast Blend

Our most popular yeast strain is WLP001, California Ale Yeast. This blend celebrates the strengths of California- clean, neutral fermentation, versatile usage, and adds two other strains that belong to the same 'clean/neutral' flavor category. The additional strains create complexity to the finished beer. This blend tastes more lager like than WLP001. Hop flavors and bitterness are accentuated, but not to the extreme of California. Slight sulfur will be produced during fermentation.
