Ingredients (All Grain10 gal)

  • 19 lbs English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • 2 lbs Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian light crystal malt. Used in lighter Abbey or Trappist style ales.

  • 1 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1 lbs Belgian Caramunich

    Belgian Caramunich

    Caramel, full flavor, copper color. For Belgian ales, German smoked and bocks.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 9.1 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 2 oz Perle - 6.8 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Perle

    Used mainly for its minty bittering and good green hop aromas in all non-pilsener lagersand wheats. Aroma is pleasant and slightly spicy

  • 2 oz Cascade - 5.8 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1 oz Cascade - 5.8 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

I'm sitting here drinking one of these IPA's. A great beer! I sub'ed in Northern Brewer for the bittering hop ( what was available) and used 1187 Ringwood ale yeast(because I had a slurry). Try this beer out!! Brian
