Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8 lbs Belgian Pale

    Belgian Pale

    Fully modified and is easily converted.

  • 2 lbs Red Wheat; Rahr

    Red Wheat; Rahr

    Creamy, Sweet, Malty, Wheat, Flour. Characteristics & Applications: • Imparts malty flavor not obtainable from raw wheat. • Use with rice hulls to improve lautering and help prevent stuck mash. • White Wheat Malt contributes to foam production and foam stability.

  • 2 lbs Cargill Two-Row Pale; Cargill Malt

    Cargill Two-Row Pale; Cargill Malt

    This malt is well modified, clean tasting, and moderate in total protein. It will provide you consistent brewhouse performance for all beer styles.

  • 1 oz Amarillo® - 8.2 AA% pellets; boiled 20 min

    Amarillo®

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 9.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 1 oz Simcoe® - 12.2 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Simcoe®

    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 1 oz Amarillo® - 8.2 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Amarillo®

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • 1 oz Simcoe® - 12.2 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    Simcoe®

    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 1 oz Centennial - 9.2 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

  • Wyeast 3864-PC Canadian/Belgian Ale

    Wyeast 3864-PC Canadian/Belgian Ale

    From a Canadian brewery which produces many styles of classic Belgian beers. Mild phenolics, which increase with increased fermentation temperatures. Low ester profile with a dry, slightly tart finish. Complex and well-balanced, alcohol tolerant.

Notes

First batch with the new Top Tier Stand!!! Dry hopped with Citra Hops, not amarillo, but citra is not in the list.
