Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 10 lbs Vienna Malt; Weyermann®

    Vienna Malt; Weyermann®

    German-grown two-row spring barley (2004 harvest). Product Characteristics: Imparts malty notes to finished beer. Intended for ales and lagers. Recommended Quantities: Up to 100% of total grain bill. Suitability (beer styles): Lagers: Oktoberfestbier, Märzen, Mai-Bock, Lager ; Ales: Dark, Stout.

  • 1 lbs Munich 20L Malt; Briess

    Munich 20L Malt; Briess

    Intensely malty flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Adds a pronounced malty flavor without adding non-fermentables or affecting foam. • Small amounts added to the grist will improve the malty flavor and give a richer color to low gravity brews. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 6-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • .5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • .25 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 0.9 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 0.50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

  • 0.50 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

    Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager

    Used by many German breweries to produce rich, full-bodied, malty beers. Good choice for Bocks and Dopplebocks.
