Kriegster Cream II
Cream Ale • All Grain • 10 gal
Another try on a Cream Ale. First one using corn flour was a mess and not enough hop. This was juiced up a bit to be more German/Bohemian hops. Used California lager yeast (Steam) (2112). Hop bitterness between Cream and California Common style guidelines.

Discussion
Good beer - but something still not right
2010-08-14 12:06pm
After kegging and aging, started drinking. Its a good beer, but there just still is something off in the flavor. Don't know if it was the corn or something else. Could have been the ferment temp also, as the outside temps reached the 80's during primary. This is usually moderated by the cool nights. Definately cleaner than the first, but not satisfied with the final product. Will try again with another adjunct.
