  • 6 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 2.4 lbs Rice Syrup

    Rice Syrup

    Rice syrup has no flavor impact in beer. Rich in fermentable sugar, light in color and body with crisp, dry taste.

  • 0.13 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • .5 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 0.5 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

this is special...

I absolutely intend for this to have a BIG EXPLOSIVE ginger flavor, like alcoholic Vernor's or any of the super-premium Ginger soda's out there. Only starting with 4 Oz. Ginger, may be adjusted for amount/time later on. Please comment with any suggestions.
