Ingredients (Extract5.0 gal)

  • .8 lbs British Crystal 55°L

    British Crystal 55°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, adds mouthfeel and head retention. For pale or amber ales.

  • 9.10 lbs Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • 1.5 lbs Lyle's Golden Syrup

    Lyle's Golden Syrup

    Increases alcohol without flavor. Liquid invert sugar.

  • .4 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

  • 1.0 oz Galena - 13.1 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Galena

    Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

  • 1.0 oz East Kent Goldings - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.
