White Labs WLP029 German Ale/Kölsch
White Labs WLP029 German Ale/Kölsch
From a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this yeast works great in Kölsch and Alt style beers. Good for light beers like blond and honey. Accentuates hop flavors, similar to WLP001. The slight sulfur produced during fermentation will disappear with age a

Very happy with this. A real winner. White Labs WLP029 gave this a very clean lager like taste. Orange character was pleasantly noticable without being over powering. Brew netted out at nearly 6% ABV (OG 1.056, TG 1.011) but honey ligtened the body and made a very drinkable brew. Would highly recommend.
