Ingredients (Extract10 gal)

  • 0.10 lbs Rye Malt

    Rye Malt

    Often used in German Ales and specialty beers

  • 0.10 lbs Golden Naked Oats

    Golden Naked Oats

    Huskless oat crystal malt. Exotic ingredient for subtle nutty difference. This malt lends a sweet berry-nut flavor. Use at a rate of 4-15% of the total grist to deliver a deep golden hue with light caramel flavors as well as a creamy, satin finish.

  • 0.01 lbs American Munich

    American Munich

    Munich Dunkels. Adds color/nutty flavor. Sometimes called Aromatic.

  • 0.09 lbs Belgian Munich

    Belgian Munich

    Used to increase malt aroma and body with slightly more color.

  • 0.10 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 9.22 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 0.07 lbs White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    Common household table/baking sugar. Lightens flavor and body of beer. Can contribute a cider-like flavor to the beer if not cold-fermented or used in large quantities.

  • 0.07 lbs Maple Syrup

    Maple Syrup

    Imparts a dry, woodsy flavor if used in the boil. If beer is bottled with it, it gives it a smooth sweet, maple taste. Use in maple ales, pale ales, brown ales and porters.

  • 0.11 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 0.8 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

  • 0.99 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min
