My attempt at doing something like Saranac's Pomegranate Wheat.

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • .25 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • .25 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 3.0 lbs Liquid Wheat Extract

    Liquid Wheat Extract

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 3.0 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 0.5 oz Cascade - 6.3 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

  • 0.50 oz Crystal - 4.4 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

Notes

Heat to 160 degrees 12 oz. pomegranate juice then add into primary after krausen subsides and fermentation begins to settle. Add more pomegranate juice in secondary if stronger fruit presence is desired.
