This is almost an exact copy of Coors Light but a little lighter. Closer to what we call Lynn's beer flavored water.

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 2.0 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.5 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 0.25 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 0.25 lbs Rice Syrup

    Rice Syrup

    Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.

  • 0.50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Nice flavor but too hoppy

The color is a little darker then expected and it's a little too hoppy for the light beer drinker. I brewed this for the Keystone light drinker and it has much to much flavor. If you like the flavor of hops, give it a try.
