    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

  • 1.67 lbs Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.00 oz Tettnanger - 2.9 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 4.3 AA% pellets; boiled 50 min

Notes

I pitched a second starter for the secondary. I feel there was the correct amount berries. The flavor was complex but delicate. The sweetness from the strawberries really came through followed by tartiness of the raspberry and blackberries. The California Lager yeast produces a smooth finish.
