Wyeast 2112 California Lager™
Wyeast 2112 California Lager™
Particularly suited for producing 19th century-style West Coast beers. Retains lager characteristics at temperatures up to 65F, and produces malty, brilliantly-clear beers.
Notes
I pitched a second starter for the secondary. I feel there was the correct amount berries. The flavor was complex but delicate. The sweetness from the strawberries really came through followed by tartiness of the raspberry and blackberries. The California Lager yeast produces a smooth finish.
