I have brewed this and it came out amazing. Its a smooth Fat Tire that benefits from a little extra carbonation. You can't go wrong with this recipe.

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.5 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 0.5 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 0.08 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 0.5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 0.5 lbs Belgian Biscuit

    Belgian Biscuit

    Warm baked biscuit flavor and aroma. Increases body. Use in Belgian beers.

Notes

Steep grains in 3 qts water at 154 degrees for 30 min. Rinse with 1.5 qts at 170 degrees. Add the extract and boil.
