Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 4 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • .7 lbs Dry Amber Extract

    Dry Amber Extract

    Cream-colored and full-flavored; will produce amber colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters. Made of pale and crystal malts.

  • .48 lbs Rice Syrup

    Rice Syrup

    Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.

  • 1 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Spalt Spalter

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • .5 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

Initial taste and aroma quite good. It's a few weeks from being ready though.
