    Cascade

Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

    Pureed Blueberries in Light Syrup

  • Wyeast 3333 German Wheat™

    Wyeast 3333 German Wheat™

Subtle flavor profile for wheat yeast with sharp tart crispness, fruity, sherry-like palate.

Notes

Boil 1 qt (4 cups) water, add 1c of honey as the water begins to cool. After mixing the honey, add the wheat extract (this recipe was originally made with Mr. Beer Whispering Weissbeir Hopped Malt Extract, and Wheat UME.) Cool wort and pitch yeast( I pitch from a liquid starter as I keep my yeast strains on slants.) Add pureed blueberries after high krausen, usually 4 days after pitching, or risk a volcanic fermentation! Beer will be ready to bottle about 7 days after adding the blueberries. Great beer for the summer, enjoy!
