An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. 1 week in bottle

Tested a bottle after 1 week. Nice medium dark amber color, with small, off-white/tan head. Crystal clear. A little rough around the edges still, needs more time to mature. Closely resembles Fuller's London Pride, even though I wasn't trying to make a clone. Can't wait to see what it tastes like with a few more weeks of conditioning. This is going to be a great beer to drink!
