This is a partial mash on the stove top at 154 degrees F for 45 minutes. Use just 3.5 Quarts of water. Sparge with 1.25 gallons of H2O @ 170 deg. "Extra light" dry extract iin bill is Breiss "Pilsner" dry extra pale DME. In the grain bill should be .25 lb of carapils to add some larger sugars for creaminess. I hit an OG 1.070 at 4 gallons total. Pitch a rigorous primed Cal Common yeast (2112) harvested from a recent Steamer.
