Jakes Honey Brown

Jakes Honey Brown

Blonde Ale • Extract • 5.5 gal

arneba28

Smells great even through the airlock. I boiled for 60 min and its almost a reddish hue. not nearly as light as BeerTools has its as. Almost a dark scotch ale. OG with beertools was dead on even with my temp correction for OG at 78d

Very Good

So I served this for my brother graduation party and all reviews were very good. This was a BMC crowd but most of them compared it to blue moon. I must say it is is heavier then blue moon. The orange taste stayed in the beer and left a mild nice citrus nose and taste. The vanilla aged itself right out and is unnoticable.
