Dark American Lager • All Grain • 5 gal
First attempt at a Lager. Previously ordered the grains and had confused 6-row and 2-row around when ordering. While I had intended on using 2-row, I will be proceeding with this batch with the 6-row. Also, I will be using WYeast 2206 Bavarian Lager yeast instead of the one indicated in this recipe due to the lack of being able to otherwise indicate.

I am brewing this recipe. I began this batch of beer three weeks ago. A week ago Thursday, I racked this batch of beer into a secondary fermenter. Specific Gravity was 1.008, so I probably ended up letting it go too long in the primary stage (oops). Did steal a small sip to taste, and compared to the initial flavor, which had a tea-ish flavor, this still had a tea-ness to it, but had more of a yeasty flavor, though that was to be expected. Will be bottling in five weeks and will acquire another small sample then, to see how the flavor has progressed.
