Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • .5 lbs American Caramel 30°L

    American Caramel 30°L

    Provides color, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • .38 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 6 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .5 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 1.5 oz Perle - 8.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Perle

    Used mainly for its minty bittering and good green hop aromas in all non-pilsener lagersand wheats. Aroma is pleasant and slightly spicy

  • 1.0 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1.0 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 5 min

how did this turn out/ the clone recipe a have is different it come from the best of brew,call for 4 lb LLME,1.8 LDME, 1.6 2-row, 10 0z crystal (60L),.18 magnum(60 min),.7 oz Perle(60 min), 1 0z cascade (15 min).75 cascade (1 min) dry hop .75 oz whole cascade hop. I have not yet brew , but let us know on how yours turned out, might do a double batch, and do a taste comparison.

This one is in the secondary now. Should be bottling this weekend. I'll update again in a few weeks and let you know how it turns out.

Well it went into the bottles last week and tsted great flat. OG was a little higher than expected but I consider that a bonus. 1.054 and FG was 1.012 for ~5.5 %. It smelled and tasted nice and hoppy I cant wait to taste the finished product. Will post back again later.
