Turned out similar to Coors light in my opinion.A collection of aging leftover ingredients that I was going to throw away if I didnt do something with them soon.

  • 1.2 lbs Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • .75 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 0.3 oz Sterling - 5.6 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Sterling

    Perceived to be similar to a Saaz and Mt. Hood combination. Finding favor as a Saaz replacement.

  • .3 oz Sterling - 5.6 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Sterling

    Perceived to be similar to a Saaz and Mt. Hood combination. Finding favor as a Saaz replacement.

  • Munton-Fison Active Brewing Yeast

    Some fruity esters, attenuative, fair to good reputation.

Not bad for just throwing crap together if you like light beer

As i said above, it reminds me a lot of Coors light, very very similar. Very mild Blonde ale-like flavor; low maltiness, light dry body, and low hop flavor/bitterness. Has a bit of a cardboardy oxidation flavor but if it didnt I think it would be ok. This is actually the favorite beer that I've made for my friends and brother, who sadly like crappy beer. Would be a good first brew for a new brewer.
