  • 0.20 lbs American Caramel 60°L

    American Caramel 60°L

Mild caramel, nutty flavor, sweet. adds color

  • 1.75 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 0.50 oz Simcoe® - 12.0 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Simcoe®

Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 0.30 oz Simcoe® - 12.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Simcoe®

Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • 0.20 oz Sterling - 12.0 AA% pellets; added dry to secondary fermenter

    Sterling

Perceived to be similar to a Saaz and Mt. Hood combination. Finding favor as a Saaz replacement.

  • Munton-Fison Active Brewing Yeast

    Munton-Fison Active Brewing Yeast

Some fruity esters, attenuative, fair to good reputation.

Notes

This turned out great! It allows you to really taste the Simcoe hops. I primed 2 half gallon growlers with 3 tsp corn sugar, and topped them off with pre-boiled water.
