Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 1 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 1 lbs Weyermann CaraMunich® II; Weyermann

    Weyermann CaraMunich® II; Weyermann

Provides body. For Oktoberfest, bock, porter, stout, red, amber and brown ales.

  • 3.5 lbs Amber; John Bull

    Amber; John Bull

    For ales and bitters.

  • 9.15 lbs Premier Gold Liquid

    Premier Gold Liquid

A light- to medium-bodied lager or ale of yellow to gold color.

  • 2 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • 2 oz Northern Brewer - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Northern Brewer

Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 2 oz Amarillo® - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Amarillo®

Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager

    Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager

Used by many German breweries to produce rich, full-bodied, malty beers. Good choice for Bocks and Dopplebocks.

Notes

I would probably dry hop with 1 oz of Amarillo in the secondary. The extract is actually Northern Brewer Gold vice premier.
