Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • .5 lbs American Caramel 20°L

    American Caramel 20°L

    Provides color, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • .5 lbs German Vienna

    German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 6 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • .25 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • .5 oz Warrior® - 16.0 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Warrior®

    New hop with much potential. Very stable.

  • .25 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • .5 oz Warrior® - 16.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Warrior®

    New hop with much potential. Very stable.

  • .5 oz Simcoe® - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Simcoe®

    Used for aromatic, and especially bittering properties.

  • .5 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Used commercially for several classic American ales. This strain ferments dry, finishes soft, smooth and dean, and is very well balanced.

Notes

Converting this from a 5 gal boil to a 2.5 gallon boil. Will brew it next week. 3 more hop additions I can't add 1oz Columbus @ 0, .5oz Warrior @ 0, and .5oz Simcoe @ 0
