Oktoberfest/Märzen • Partial Mash • 5 gal

Never tried brewing this however if you do let me know how it is. I am using the original DeGroens Marzen as a model for color and flavor. This brewery moved from Baltimore, MD to Delaware and the beer never tasted the same.

Ingredients (Partial Mash5 gal)

  • 3 lbs German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 2 lbs German Light Munich

    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
