Oh Yeah!

Brewed this one Tuesday 8/8 and everything went as planned. Was done with the brew at about 11:30 Tuesday and left pot in sink to cool until morning. Racked to 6 Gal and pitched yeast directly. By the time I got home from work the carboy had frickin' weather patterns in it, the most aggressive fermentation I have ever seen. The ferment was mostly complete by 8/10 and I racked to a 5 gal secondary. The hop aroma on this one kicks ass, VERY critus and floral. Color at this point is a little darker than I would have liked but looks like it will be pretty much like what beertools predicts.

Bottled last night and have great suds today. WTF is up with beer and its color changing? This went from being light to brown to a flipin' porter in the seconday to a blonde in the glass?! I'm not sayin' I'm just sayin'. Any who It pretty much came out exactly how I was hoping it would. Somewhat thin bodied, low bitterness and a good citrius flavor. Too bad there isn't many more hot summer days left...

After another few Weeks.

This beer seems to be all over the place. I am not sure if my palette changes or if some of these are extremely tasty and others not (ie some sort of contamination in some bottles and not others.) I had one several days ago at just below room temp and it was delicious, extreme citrius hop taste and just down right clean and refreshing. I had one today at about the same conditions and it seemed all garbled up and mixed together. One thing I do notice it that it is best served at about 65 deg F. If it is too cold, the flavors do not come out and feel compressed, if it is room temp the flavors seem crude and over pronounced. Any who -Duc

Tasted multiple times

After drinking a few of these I was really amazed at how much hop character it has. It's really citrusy with floral undertones. Once you identify all the flavors they really stand out. It's extremely refreshing, like drinking a glass of lemonade. Very good summer beer.
