Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 3.30 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 2.00 lbs Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 0.25 lbs Lactose

    Lactose

    Adds sweetness and body. Use in sweet or milk stouts.

  • 1.0 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 40 min

    East Kent Goldings

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • 0.50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 0.50 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Used commercially for several classic American ales. This strain ferments dry, finishes soft, smooth and dean, and is very well balanced.
