Discussion
Into secondary!

Original Gravity was 1.073 It is going into secondary today. Does not seem quite as dark as it did before. Smells very malty and sweet. The molasses gives it a unique aroma. The hops don't really come through aroma wise yet, but you can taste them. Can't wait till this one is done. Will update when it is ready.
A serious champ, can't wait for a couple of months of aging.

Bottled on 8/17/07. 1st taste on 8/27/07 Dark chocolate coffee and toasted nutty caramel like flavors and aromas. The molasses gives the beer a solid mouth feel with some residual "dryness" that I don't think comes from the hops. An unexpectedly complex beer that will emphasize its subtleties with aging. It’s going to be hard to let this one sit! Terminal Gravity = 1.012 ABV = 7.875 %
