This should be a good easy drinking beer that everyone can enjoy. Even the ladies that drink Miller Lite.

Ingredients (Extract, 5 gal)
- 4.13 lbs
Dry Light Extract
Dry Light Extract
White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.
- 1 lbs
Rice Syrup
Rice Syrup
Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.
- 1 oz
Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min
Tettnanger
Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.
- 1 oz
Saaz - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min
Saaz
Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

Used commercially for several classic American ales. This strain ferments dry, finishes soft, smooth and dean, and is very well balanced.

Changed the recipe just slightly. I changed the tettnag boil to 45 min and added 1 oz saaz for the last 15. Should still be a tasty brew.
Results after bottling

I tested this one after one and a half weeks in the bottle and it was really clear and had excellent flavor. I will be making this one again for the summer.

Toppoppa, I have to tell you I think you have some of the best looking recipes on Beer Tools. I'm studying all of them. I'm making out my 2008 brewing schedule and this cream ale, your blonde ale, your We be Wheatin' and your newly posted Oatmeal Stout all look to be hard to beat. It looks like you use dry yeast alot. How's that US56 you've used? Sounds like you've been happy with it. That P&J Bitter of yours looks like that's got to get on my list too. You're totally screwing up my list man! I'll be brewing all year to get all your beers in. My wife adores Cream Ale but doesn't like any lactose used in it. That's why I'd like to do your Summer Slurper. You've got three recipes in 2007 just on that! Man I can't wait to try some of these. On your P&J Bitter, you used Danstar Windsor yeast, what would have been your second choice yeast on that one? My brew store doesn't carry the Windsor. Keep up the good work. Any of your recipes I try out will be dutifully reported back on. You're going to keep me busy in 2008. Keep posting your dynamite recipes and keep on brewin'. Thanks.

Buzzerj- Thanks for the positive feedback on my recipes. I do use a lot of dry yeast because it is cheap and I always get excellent results. If you like stout then try the one i just posted. As far as windsor you can try a london or nottingham if you're able to get that in dry form. I think I may try the wyeast 1275 thames valley ale yeast in my bitter.
