Newton's Gravity App-Ale
Specialty Beer • Extract • 5 gal
Lots of ABV, 8%, but definitely a sipping brew. This got the wives to stop complaining and next week when they wake up, they will forget what they had to complain about.

Anyone tried this yet?

Anyone tried this recipe yet? I'm not sure if this will work or not. I'd like to see it as a clear beer being it looks like you are trying to yield a Smirnoff type drink. Post if you try this and let us know how it is. And why is there a Honey Malt component if you aren't using any? Interesting!
Brewed and taste terrific

Used Apples instead of extract. Most loved it. More ABV than regular malternatives, at 8%, but the apples make it taste awesome. This was a big hit. Was worried the ATF was going to arrest us for making liquor, but it was only fermented, I promise. Our second batch we substituted apples for 4oz of apple flavoring at bottle time. This also was a terrific hit. Good Luck.
