Munich Dunkels. Adds color/nutty flavor. Sometimes called Aromatic.

A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

Galena - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

This beer really showcases the Simcoe hop.

I increased the hops in this recipe after brewing it the first time. Next time I brew this, I may add the first Simcoe addition at 20 minutes to go in the boil instead of 15 to get even more flavor.
