Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 10 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 2.25 lbs White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    Common household table/baking sugar. Lightens flavor and body of beer. Can contribute a cider-like flavor to the beer if not cold-fermented or used in large quantities.

  • White Labs WLP715 Champagne

    White Labs WLP715 Champagne

    Classic yeast, used to produce champagne, cider, dry meads, dry wines, or to fully attenuate barley wines/ strong ales. Can tolerate alcohol concentrations up to 17%. Neutral.

* Cane Sugar represents sugar from apple juice (at an assumed SG of 1.050), * 2.5 gal apple juice + 10 lbs honey dissolved in 2.5 gal H2O * Soebate and additional honey and apple concentrate to be added. * Uncarbonated.
