Steep the grains for 30 min. Bring to boil and add extract and honey. Hops schedual: Saaz - 60 min. Fuggles - 15 min. Add cheeries during secondary racking. Produces a very cherry tasting, dark red beer.

  • 1.5 lbs Crystal Malt 90°L

    Crystal Malt 90°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • 3 lbs Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 6 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 0.5 oz Czech Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • 0.5 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.
