Notes

steps. 1. mini mash the two different types of 2-row in a half gallon at 148 F in a seperate pot, then dump the liquid into the brewpot 2.add the 120 L and german crystal to the grain bag, mash at 155 F (same process/same amount of water as the first mash) 3. put a full gallon in the pot you used for the mini mash, boil to 170 and leave the grain bag sitting in a strainer (plastic not metal) over the brewpot 4. take the boiled water and slowly pour over the grain bag (while still in the strainer....basically the minimash version of sparging) 5.add one last gallon of water to the brewpot and bring to a boil, then of course you can begin the normal extract/hopping process.
