From Northern California. This strain is more fruity than WLP001, and slightly more flocculant. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer than with WLP001.
Notes
This Ale came out Really Good....nice Cascade flavor and just the right balance of bitterness to sweetness. Dry hop with 3/4 oz. cascade hops in the primary!

This one came out just the way that I hoped that it would. Good mouth feel, a nice bitter taste with a slight sweet finish and a citrusy nose that says cascades. Give it a try and let me know how you like it.
Pretty Good Pale Ale Recipe

Brewed this batch in early April '07, turned out great. The color is beautiful and the hoppiness is strong but not overpowering. My batch could have been a little more alcoholic, but I'm pleased. Remember to take the wort pot off the heat when adding the extract. Any caramelizing of the extract will ruin the distinct color. Also, be patient and let it condition in the bottle at least 9-10 days before drinking. A few days goes a long way.
