Ingredients (Extract21 L)

  • 0.23 kg Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 1.5 kg Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1.8 kg Dry Light Extract

    Dry Light Extract

    White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

  • 60 g Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 4.5 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Hallertauer Hersbrucker

    Mild to strong. 'Noble'.

  • 30 g Czech Saaz - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Czech Saaz

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • 15 g Czech Saaz - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 2 min

    Czech Saaz

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    Classic pilsner strain from the premier pilsner producer in the Czech Republic. Somewhat dry with a malty finish, this yeast is best suited for European pilsner production.

Notes

Hop additions are a little misleading here (not enough room to state what really happened!). Try: 60g Hersbrucker (60 min) 15g Saaz (15 min) 15g Hersbrucker (15 min) 15g Saaz (2 min) 30g Saaz (dry hopped for a week)
