I want to know what you all think of this recipe. I am about to make this batch for a competition, and I wonder what you guys think of how it looks on paper. Any suggestions?

Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.05 lbs American Caramel 20°L

    American Caramel 20°L

    Provides color, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • 0.40 lbs English 2-row Lager

    English 2-row Lager

  • 4.02 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 0.16 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 0.16 lbs Rice Syrup

    Rice Syrup

    Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.

  • 0.16 lbs Light Brown Sugar

    Light Brown Sugar

    Imparts rich, sweet flavor. Use in Scottish ales, old ales and holiday beers.

  • 0.1 oz Chinook - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Chinook

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 0.46 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.50 oz Liberty - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Liberty

    Used mainly for finishing German and American style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild and pleasant.

    White Labs WLP840 American Lager

    This yeast is used to produce American style lagers. Dry and clean with a very slight apple fruitiness. Sulfur and diacetyl production is minimal.

gravity to somewhere in between, otherwise look pretty good!. I will give it a try this winter as my basement temp drops to lager fermentation levels...
