Ah-tanum
American Pale Ale • Partial Mash • 19 L
Came by some cluster and ahtanum hops, and thought APA. Keeping the quantity down a bit to allow more head space in the fermenter for the 1007 to do its thing.

Maris Otter Pale
Maris Otter Pale
An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. This malt delivers predictable brewhouse performance with modest, yet consistent extracts. Brewers can expect good runoffs with clear wort.

Efficiency

Achieved 79% efficiency. Much better than anticipated, and it threw out my calculations. Bitterness will be a bit lower than I'd hoped (33ish instead of 38ish). You brew and learn.
