  • .5 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • .5 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • 1.5 lbs Peat Smoked Malt

    Peat Smoked Malt

    Imparts a robust smokey flavor and aroma. Use in Scottish ales and Wee Heavies.

  • 7 lbs Liquid Dark Extract

    Liquid Dark Extract

    Used predominantly in the production of dark beers such as milds, browns, porters, and stouts.

  • 2 lbs Dry Amber Extract

    Dry Amber Extract

    Cream-colored and full-flavored; will produce amber colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters. Made of pale and crystal malts.

Have you brewed this recipe? 1.5 pounds of peated malt? Is it too smoky? I wonder because I love a smoky scotch, and want that for a wee heavy I'm planning on making. Thanks for your help.
