    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

NEW 1056 | One of the 3.3lb was Mundons hopped light the other was unhopped | Steeped in 3gal. water @ 180o in 20qt pot | boil in 38qt for 30 min. | moved to special 5gal pot | boil 30 min and cooled to < 80o | Starting gravity 1.052 @ 70o | pitched in < 4 hours

How is this a Flander's Red? What did you do to add the sour/tartness?
