A lighter ale. My first attempt at a NON Kit beer.

Ingredients (Extract, 5 gal)
- 1.5 lbs
Crystal Malt 20°L

Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

Dextrine Malt

In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.
- 6.0 lbs
Liquid Light Extract
Liquid Light Extract
A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

Cascade - 5.7 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Chinook - 10.7 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

Came out a little lower in the OG at 1.048

Well a few weeks after brewing it was so damn bad I almost dumped it.... Well since I didn't need the keg, I just let it sit for a while... Now, its the best beer I have made to this point.
