Finished, she's in the primary. Actual OG is 1.062. 3hours later the wyeast activator yeast is fermenting hard!

love that WYeast Activator

It is a vigorous yeast for sure that activator. . The beer started fermenting yesterday after a few hours of pitching, and bubbled and frothed hard...Well This morning it had blown the airlock completely off and bubbled all the way down the glasscarboy! Woo hoo!

Awesome

I think I like this second batch of ale better than the first. More malt and very creamy and smooth from the oats. The Magnum hops give a nice compliment to the yeast...Citrusy and spicy.

When I remake this recipe, Will split malt bill with half Laaglander for more dextrins in finished beer. Nicer for cooler weather.
