Tomorrow

i'll bottle this one, from the fridge where it's stored comes a nice smell... maybe it knows that is it's moment to be bottled :o) After 6 weeks of lagerization this beer will finally go to it's final location, and will stay there in cellar for other 4 months. Then the tasting report will be done tomorrow (after bottling) for the first impact with this Ocktoberfest beer and next one when Oktoberfest will start :o)

As promised... report

I've just bottled 21 liters of this Oktoberfest beer, is well balanced, maybe a little bit "sweet", but it have to age 4 months more :) Color is light amber and foam is vanishing (but is normal for a beer that is just bottled), smells of munich malt and hops, tettnanger over all. Take a look at the picture: http://ultramarines.altervista.org/Beer/Maerzen.gif
