Ingredients (Partial Mash5 gal)

  • 2.70 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 0.94 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 0.38 lbs American Caramel 40°L

    American Caramel 40°L

Provides color, a unique flavor, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • 3.19 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 0.38 lbs White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

    White Table Sugar (Sucrose)

Common household table/baking sugar. Lightens flavor and body of beer. Can contribute a cider-like flavor to the beer if not cold-fermented or used in large quantities.

  • 0.38 lbs Maple Syrup

    Maple Syrup

Imparts a dry, woodsy flavor if used in the boil. If beer is bottled with it, it gives it a smooth sweet, maple taste. Use in maple ales, pale ales, brown ales and porters.

  • 0.8 oz Cluster - 7.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Cluster

Used for bittering and flavor qualities in light and dark American lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 0.50 oz Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Hallertau

Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 0.50 oz Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Hallertau

Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Wyeast 1056 American Ale™
