  • 1 lbs British Dark Crystal

    British Dark Crystal

    Sweet caramel flavor, mouthfeel. For porters, stouts, old ales and any dark ale.

  • 1 lbs Weyermann CaraMunich® II; Weyermann

    Weyermann CaraMunich® II; Weyermann

    Provides body. For Oktoberfest, bock, porter, stout, red, amber and brown ales.

  • .75 lbs Weyermann Carafa® II; Weyermann

    Weyermann Carafa® II; Weyermann

    Carafa I, II and III also are available de-husked. Adds aroma, color and body.

  • .75 lbs Melanoidin Malt

    Melanoidin Malt

    Red Ales

  • 7 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 1 oz Fuggle - 3.4 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

  • White Labs WLP025 Southwold Ale Yeast

    White Labs WLP025 Southwold Ale Yeast

    From Suffolk county, England. This yeast produces complex fruit and citrus flavors. Great for British bitters and pale ales. Slight sulfur is produced during fermentation, which will disappear with aging.

I just brewed my 2nd batch. The 1st was great and I would recommend this recipe to anyone who likes porter!!
