  • .25 lbs Black Roasted Barley

    Black Roasted Barley

    Unmalted roasted grain, it is the backbone of many stouts. Imparts a sharp acrid flavor characteristic of dry stouts. Gives "dryness" to a stout or porter ,more so than regular Roasted Barley.

  • 1.25 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • .25 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

this is a great stout. Doesnt taste anything like what I was going for, but excellent nonetheless. Next time wyeast 1968
