White Labs WLP011 European Ale
White Labs WLP011 European Ale
Malty, Northern European-origin ale yeast. Low ester production, giving a clean profile. Little to no sulfur production. Low attenuation helps to contribute to the malty character. Good for Alt, Kolsch, malty English ales, and fruit beers.
Notes
Steep mash: 60min at 65 to 68c. Boiled mash runnings and extract in 15 litres for 60 minutes. Added Northern Brewer hops at the start of the boil, added 40gms of Cascade after 50 mins and last Cascade at end of boil. Cooled to 18c. Ferment at 18 degrees celcius.

Still my favourite after all these brews.

Have brewed this one near a dozen times and each one comes out on the money. Serves up sensationally at cooler temps and in freezer chilled glasses.
