Indian Strong Lager

Indian Strong Lager

English IPA • Partial Mash • 23 L

wombat

Pretty much an IPA with a cleaner, non-phenolic or estery finish - the hops and malt do all the work, with a slightly warming edge. Also, clarity is in with this one and it's a little paler than usual.

Notes

It's in the IPA category but that's because there's no category for this one. Closest fit possible :) Mash grains as per usual and add the Morgan's Pale (instead of Extra Pale) to the hop boil. German CaraFoam grain may be substituted for Cara-Pils or Dextrin grains.
