Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.75 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 6.6 lbs Liquid Amber Extract

    Liquid Amber Extract

    Amber is used predominantly in the production of medium-colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters.

  • .59 lbs Dry Amber; Muntons

    Dry Amber; Muntons

    Used predominantly in the production of medium-colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters.

  • 1.5 oz Target - 10.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Target

    Used for its robust bittering ability in British ales and lagers. Aroma is quite intense.

  • 0.75 oz Goldings - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 20 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • 0.75 oz Fuggle - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.
