Notes
Mashed 2.5 hours at 165-170. Originally intended as an IPA, this beer turned out much darker than expected (probably due to the long mash) - watch those chocolate malts! I'm now calling it an "India Brown Ale" because the hops are far too agressive for a straight brown ale. The malt-flavor and body are wonderfully smooth, but you must appreciate northwest-style over-the-top-IPAs in order to enjoy this hop-heavy recipe.
